Team Performance
Several views of PPC and Reasons for Variance are available, showing team performance and simple filtering for further analysis.
Resource Reports
- Resources by trade and by work area provide a quick visual on planned resource levels.
- These tables show both summary and detail as required.
- Overall site resources enable a high-level view of resources for the entire site.
- Planned versus actual crew size can be utilized to help identify details of where labor constraints are causing delays.
Milestones
- Reports are available to list all milestones by type (color).
- Report can be filtered by date range.
- If Milestones from the master schedule are imported to the plan, a report can be created to compare the master schedule milestones and those milestones that have been pulled into the plan.
Activities and Outstanding Tasks
- Reports are available to review outstanding activities, start and end dates
- These can be filtered by date range, trade and activity status
- There is also a Gantt view and daily log.
Gantt View Of Activities
- A Gantt view of the schedule enables simple expansion of each lane to view the details of the work to be done and the associated trade, for each activity
-
This can also be filtered by date and by trade
Daily Log
- This report outlines the work planned for the next day, who is doing the work and where it is being done
- This can be filtered or sorted by trade
- It is also possible to export the data to Excel by clicking on the report and using the menu (…) at the top of the report window and selecting Export data
Constraints
- The constraint log can be sorted by date required to be resolved, person responsible or any other field.
Productivity Analysis
Productivity, in terms of quantities planned and quantity completed can be measured. However, this requires the use of two fields on tags in the Visual Planner application. These are the Task and Details fields. They would need to be completed as follows:
Phase Plan Reporting
- Phase plan reporting includes a listing of activities, which can be filtered by trade and by date range
- A Gantt view of the Phase plan is also available
Master Schedule vs. Plan
There are two reports that provide a comparison between the Master Schedule and both the phase plan and the weekly work plan. To make this comparison, there needs to be a data connection between the activities in the master schedule and the plan.
If the master schedule has been imported into the plan, this connection is made automatically using the Schedule ID from the master. This ID will be brought into the phase plan when activities are imported and brought into the phase. This enables the tracking of changes to the master when phase planning (scope sequence and duration).
